Can I get photocopies at the library?
Yes, you can get photocopies in the library. The cost is $0.25 for the original page and then $0.10 per additional page for black and white on letter sized paper.
Can I pay my library fines online?
You are not able to pay your fines online at this time.
Get a library card.
Residents of Darwell and surrounding areas can obtain a library card provided that proper identification is shown.
Your library card is The Alberta Library (TAL) card.This means that as a member of the Darwell Public Library, you may borrow and return books at any Alberta Library.
The cost for membership is $10.00 for a family, $5.00 for Adults and $1.00 for children.

During a raid, Commanche, Kiowa, and Caddo Indians in Texas kidnap nine-year-old Cynthia Ann Parker and kill her family. Adopted into the Commanche tribe, she lived a happy life until Texas Rangers recaptured her and forced her to return to live again among Anglo-Americans.
